"When your job is doing what you love, you will never have to work a day in your life."

My name is Angela and I am the owner and groomer of Pawsitively Perfect Luxury Resort for dogs in beautiful Montana. I am from Oklahoma and moved to the Valley in the summer of 2009.  I have 3 furry children: The little Queen miracle tri color sheltie, Jersey Mae, a sweet  Sable sheltie  Princess Shelby Shea who is the lover of the bunch, and a beautiful bi-black sheltie, Callie Kaye, she is my court jester.

In 2006, I was named Business of the Year by the Tulsa Economic Development Corporation.  “I am so lucky.  Everyday I really do get to get paid to do exactly what I love doing.  I love being with dogs, even the challenging ones.  It’s great.  My advice to anyone in life is simple… Find something you love to do and learn how to do it so well that someone pays you to do it.  That is what you were meant to become.  I am a pet stylist, it’s who I am” said Angela. “It is our goal to be Exceptional in every way.  We provide quality and exceptional care to our clients; the dogs deserve the very best.  They give unconditional love to you, they give you their best.  They deserve the best in return.  They come here to get beautiful, to play, to have fun, and to get some kisses and hugs.  Nothing compares to the love of a dog, nothing.  It’s been an honor to be a part of so many canines’ lives.

Some have often said I may be an obsessive compulsive person, haha.  Things out of place annoy me, hair in the house or the shop, papers out of place, all of it just has to be put in the proper places and cleaned.    Being OCD is not so bad, I think it makes me a better groomer actually.  I like the dogs to look just right and I like the salon to always be clean and inviting, never smelling like a dirty dog, even if there are 20 of them in here at the same time:)

Shelties are my favorite breed of course.  Something about them just tugs at my heart.
I take great pride in my grooming!  I treat all the dogs as I would like to have mine treated...gentle hands and lots of kisses!  I love Shelties (obviously I have lots of them myself!), Goldens, Cockers, Standard Poodles, & Collies.  I LOVE big projects (see b4/afters on pet pics page!)  The outcome is so dramatic and as exhausting as it may be, I feel its even more rewarding when completed:)  I have NEVER shaved a collie or sheltie's coat off--I use a very unique hand stripping method to remove undercoat and matting. "

Prayer for the Animals

Hear our humble prayer, O God, for our friends the animals, especially for animals who are suffering; for any who are hunted or lost or deserted or frightened or hungry; for all that must be put to sleep. We entreat for them all Thy mercy and pity, and for those who deal with them we ask a heart of compassion and gentle hands and kindly words. Make us be true friends to animals and so to share the blessings of the merciful.    ~ Albert Schweitzer
